The Alerta Emerald 2 is an overlay alternating pressure relieving mattress that has 5″ air cells and has been designed for the effective prevention and treatment of patients with a high risk of developing a pressure ulcer.  It is ideal for hospital, nursing home and care home use. The system comes with a mattress, pump and power cable and is easy to use with simple functionality.  The Alerta Emerald 2 can be set and ready for use at the optimal setting for the patient very quickly.  The mattress has a wide range of features that make it very versatile and it has been designed to comply with the most stringent quality and in-use guidelines.  The mattress also incorporates the latest cutting edge SensaCare Truflo Technology which gives constant auto pressure sensing through an air sensor and microcomputer regulator to provide ultra-low interface pressure and promotes an even ambience that aids natural sleep patterns and stable blood circulation with the Ultra-Silent pump operation.
