The Alerta Pearl is an overlay alternating pressure relieving mattress system that has 5″ air cells.  This mattress is ideal for both the prevention and treatment of patients with a medium to high risk of developing a pressure ulcer.  The mattress has been developed for use in hospitals, nursing homes and care homes.  The mattress gives care providers the control to ensure the pressure is set to the correct setting.  The settings are functionality is easy to use and the mattress can be quickly set up and ready to use with the minimum of effort.  The Alerta Pearl has been manufactured to comply with the most stringent quality and in-use guidelines. The mattress comes with a vapour-permeable water-resistant mattress with a 360-degree zip that can be removed for hygiene and washing.
